Information for Authors
Interactive Presentations
All papers will be presented in Interactive sessions (Posters). All authors will be provided a poster board that will allow them to place their presentation.

The ideal size for your paper is A0 (1190mm high, 841mm wide) as this will fit well onto the poster boards provided.

There is no specific format/template for the poster, but don't forget:

  • To put the title of the paper plus your name and contact details on the poster
  • The space you have available is A0 (Portrait format)
  • Use images and bullets rather than blocks of text
  • Make sure you state your research purpose and findings clearly
  • The font size should be large enough to be read for example 2 metres away (generally no smaller than 24 point, with 80 point as a suggestion for the title.
  • Keep it visually attractive including plenty of white space
  • Ensure it is accessible to CEM professionals who may not be experts in your particular branch

Also note that each presentation must have at least one author in attendance for the entire session, to discuss their papers and answer questions.

1-Slide-1-Minute
Before each Interactive session, all authors will be invited to make an oral presentation of their paper.

The format of this presentation is that each author has 1 (one) PowerPoint slide, and will have 1 (one) minute to present an outline of their paper.

The slide template is available for download below, and you will see that the slide contains enough space for the Title, Objectives of the papers, Approach used in the work, and Results.

Clearly this is only enough space (and time) to give a brief overview of the work, in order to encourage delegates to come to your poster to discuss in more details your research.

Please make sure to send the PowerPoint slide to: admin@cem2023.com to arrive no later than Wednesday 5th April.
